Sorrento - Legend

There's a place where myth meets history in a fascinating sea and sun, sky and land coloured tale. This place is named Sorrento Peninsula. Here happened one of the most interesting tale about mermaids ever told. They say that one of these mermaids gave the name to the town of Sorrento, as she was called. Once upon a time Mirone and Leucosia, two farm workers, had a daughter called Sirentum, named this way because of the temple on the hill in Massa Lubrense dedicated to the sirens.

How to Reach Villa pane - Bed & Breakfast Sorrento

BY CAR:
To reach Villa Pane  from Piazza Tasso take Fuorimura street and continue for approximately 3 Kms to the location Casarlano, go through Baranica street, 500 meters before reaching the Church of the Assumption. Turn right and park your car in the square with the Church of St. Blaise S. Biagio), or go ahed  to the little street called  Baranica (we advice access only to those who have small cars). It is avalaible for our guests a shuttle from the parking "Villa Pane" situated close to the Piazza Tasso to Villa Pane (we advice to inform us about your arrival  to reserve the service).
